Recently, we were commissioned to dismantle and relocate eight 60-ton autoclaves, which were used for the production of concrete blocks. The project began in Hanover, Germany, with the autoclaves scheduled for transport to a new site in Poland.
This was not a straightforward relocation. The autoclaves were situated in a confined, recessed area on a steep incline, making access difficult. Additionally, the limited space around the equipment complicated the dismantling of the closure lids. When handling machinery of this size, precision is essential not only to ensure efficiency but, most importantly, to guarantee safety.
Despite the obstacles, the OKSEL team was fully prepared for the task. We began by safely disconnecting the autoclaves from their gas and water installations. The next step involved dismantling the closing lids, a process made more challenging due to the restricted space on-site. Using our advanced equipment, we carefully lifted and positioned the autoclaves for safe removal.
Every movement required careful coordination and precision to ensure the equipment was handled correctly. Throughout the entire process, safety remained our top priority. We implemented all necessary precautions to secure the area and avoid any accidents, understanding the potential risks involved when managing such heavy machinery.
The dismantling and removal process was completed without any issues. Once the autoclaves were securely prepared, they were safely transported to Poland.
